About the Pocket Scale

This pocket scale is extremely portable and functional. The scale has a capacity of up to 100 g, with five different weighing modes: g, tl, oz, ct, gn. It also has a full capacity tare function. The scale features a durable weighing platform measuring approximately 2 in x 2 in and includes a detachable face plate to serve as a measuring plate. The pocket scale can also be used to count pieces.

How to Calibrate a Pocket Scale

This pocket scale has an auto calibration system, so it doesn't require calibration weights. Simply place the pocket scale on a level, vibration-free surface before pressing the on/off button. Give the pocket scale sufficient warm up time, usually about 30 seconds, to give the internal components a chance to stabilize. If necessary, the pocket scale calibration can be reset by following the instructions provided with the pocket scale.

All Good

The scale came in and, though it had no batteries, worked well and was easy to use once they were replaced.

Out of the Dark

I’m no longer in the dark. Not that I’m anyone at being exact, It is nice to know how much of something I’m taking. This thing is so exact it belongs in Harvard Ha! Ha! I still operate on the hunt and peck but nice to be able to convert when I’m trying to tell someone else. The scale is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand but you don’t want to keep it there. Place on a hard safe surface for if it isn’t balanced the display will be UNSF which says “I’m not going to give accurate readings until I’m more secure.” It has four settings ozt - Troy Ounce ct - Carat for all those diamonds you plan to weigh dwt - Pennyweight which went out of official use in the United Kingdom in 1878 replaced by the Troy Ounce. But still needed for conversation reasons I guess. gn - Grain which is an old never used pharmacology weight but everyone has to convert to it. The machine also comes with a handout which includes a table of weight equivalents. It is a nicely designed machine made with plastic and metal. Very tiny fits in a shirt pocket if shirts are still made with pockets. I was amazed I found a small tray to hold the capsules because they easily roll off the metal scale. I now know how much of something I’m taking. My capsule making isn’t pro and each capsuleI I make is off by a .00 something but who would know its so small. This is neat and make it just that much more beneficial and fun.

200 Mg pocket scale

Plastic, not metal as it appears in the ad; Came with one battery, instead of 0 as advertised. Looks like it might weigh accurately. We'll see.
