I am not a scientist nor do I have a proper scale to measure mg's so had quite a time figuring out how much of your product equaled the amount my doctor prescribed. I'm still not sure I'm doing it right! I chose the powder because it has no other products included. Could you include a micro-measuring "spoon" to help make this product more user friendly?

The following is a list of clinical trials, most double-blinded and placebo-controlled, recorded at the National Medical Library, MEDLINE, as abstracted by GreenMedInfo for benfotiamine: 1. Benfotiamine and alpha-lipoic acid normalises complication-causing pathways in type 1 diabetes. 2. Benfotiamine inhibits oxidative stress with type 2 diabetes. 3. Benfotiamine reduces polyneuropathy symptoms. 4. Benfotiamine aids the post-ischemic healing of diabetic animals. 5. Benfotiamine, a form of thiamine, attenuates nicotine and uric acid-induced vascular endothelial dysfunction in the rat. 6. Benfotiamine has antioxidant activity and may protect DNA. 7. Thiamine may be an essential supplement for preventing complications of diabetes type 1 and type 2.

BS price & quality is again the very best. Benfotiamine is a fat-soluble form of thiamine (vitamin B1) that is more readily absorbed by the digestive tract. Benfotiamine inhibits three major pathways that lead to the formation of toxic substances such as advanced glycation end products (AGEs) Benfotiamine effectively relieves diabetic polyneuropathy. Benfotiamine preserves healthy endothelial function, which is associated with optimal cardiovascular health and protection against diabetic peripheral vascular disease. Benfotiamine also supports the function of muscle cells in the heart. Benfotiamine protects the kidneys against oxidative stress and loss of filtering capability, thus helping to prevent diabetic kidney disease. Benfotiamine helps prevent or delay the development of diabetic retinopathy, a cause of vision loss.
