Rosehip extract may be useful as a supplement to safely reduce abdominal visceral fat in preobese subjects. 2. Rose-hip powder significantly alleviates symptoms of osteoarthritis. 3. Rose hip powder from (Rosa canina) improves symptoms of chronic pain. 4. Rosa canina fruit capsules were able to reduce the incidence of urinary tract infection after cesarean section. 5. A hot-water extract of rose hip exerted an anti-prediabetic effect in a rat model. 6. Rosa canina extract has a hepatoprotective effect in STZ-induced diabetes in rats. 7. Rosa canina extract has the antihyperglycemic and antihyperlipidemic effects in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats. 8. Rose hip is a suitable dietary supplement for preventing atherosclerotic plaques formation. 9.
